It's one of life's great simple pleasure; a ramble around with man's best friend. But no dog walk is complete without a destination, and we can't think of anywhere better to finish up than a pub.

But it's not all about you – you've got to find a pub that your furry friend will love to. Whether it's a local with a roaring fireplace begging to be curled up in front of; a gastropub complete with special doggie menu; or even an Inn with a bed and bowl for your canine pal for an overnight stay, there are plenty of pubs that are perfect for you and your pet pooch.

We've come a long way from just leaving the dog on the lead outside – we've looked up and down the country to pick some of the finest pubs that'll please both human and hound alike.

If there isn't a pub listed near you there's sure to be one on this website. Simply pop in your postcode and it will list the doggy friendly pubs close to you.
